Melbourne Florida is centrally located on Florida’s Space Coast. Melbourne is 30 minutes from the Port, 45 min to Orlando, and close to lots of shopping and entertainment. Melbourne is just north of Palm Bay and just south of Viera. Melbourne also goes from Mainland Florida to the beaches.

Most of Melbourne is located on the mainland, while some of it is located on a barrier island. This space is separated by the Indian River Lagoon. The barrier island is a narrow strip of land that separates the Lagoon from the Atlantic Ocean. These two pieces of land are connected by a pair of four-lane, high-rise bridges — the Melbourne Causeway and the Eau Gallie Causeway.
